Art Therapy
Art therapy is a combination of talk therapy and art making to support those experiencing pain, grief, anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma.
Art therapy facilitates creative expression to communicate our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs, and is a healthy form of self-care. Art therapy also regulates our nervous system, connects our body to our mind, and creates new neural pathways in our brain to improve memory and problem solving skills, and cultivate self-awareness.
No art experience is required to reap the therapeutic benefits of art therapy.
Groups & Workshops
Group art therapy classes, workshops, camps and retreats are designed for specific goals, themes, and topics and sometimes for a specific population.
Using a variety of art mediums, these sessions create opportunities for positive social connections through sharing and learning from others, supporting eachother, and feeling a sense of belonging and connection.
